The Freight Mobility Research Institute (FMRI) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is currently seeking graduate research assistants. Selected candidates will complete a Master's Degree in Transportation and conduct research in the fields related to freight operations, optimization, intermodal transportation systems, and logistics and supply chain. The assistantship includes tuition and health insurance waivers and a bi-weekly stipend. The offer is valid for one academic year with a high possibility for renewal in a second year based on performance and funding availability. The Freight Mobility Research Institute (FMRI) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is currently accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Transportation Engineering who would like to join our research team in the areas of Smart Cities and City Logistics. The FMRI research facility is a state-of-the-art laboratory that excels in transportation operations as well as field experiments. The successful candidates will be working primarily in the fields of Freight Transportation, City Logistics, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous, Connected and Shared-mobility Transportation, Simulation Modeling and Data Analysis techniques. The initial appointment period is of one year with a high possibility of extension to a second year and years going forward based on performance and funding availability.
